We work by hand and by ear. Tuning, easing sticking keys, regulating the action, restoring strings and felts, step by step, with patience. It is careful, attentive work, and that is where the difference lies.

We give an honest assessment. We tell you plainly what a piano needs, what it is worth doing and what is best left. We would rather be straight about a piano than talk it up.

We are a small piano workshop, where pianos are still tuned by ear and set right by hand. To us a piano is more than furniture: it is an instrument to be played, and cared for, it lasts for generations. That is what our work is about.
